It’s out and it’s looking schweet. The bit vs. bool argument is finally laid to rest (though I can see people debating 1-byte bools vs. 4-byte bools), and several new features have been added. Check it out.

But Walter change his mind and finally prevent bools from implicitly being converted to ints? Looking back in the newsgroup history I’d say no…but I sense an attitude shift among people though to where allowing numeric operations on bools are regarded as outright compiler bugs.
