The One With D is Moving

Thursday, April 27th, 2006

In the course blogging on my game dev blog, I’ve come to like Wordpress more and more. This has made me to begin to feel restricted by the Blogger service when maintaining the 2 blogs I run here. Because of this, both of my blogs at blogspot.com will be moving in the near future.

The One With D will likely find its new home at dprogramming.aldacron.net (but that’s not for certain yet). Once I get Wordpress set up there and settle on a theme, I’ll be importing all of the existing posts and comments. For those of you subscribed to one of the feeds via a newsreader or browser, the process should be transparent. I’ll leave one last post here so that anyone who doesn’t get the automatic transition (i.e. those who subscribed before I started using Feedburner) will be able to reset the feed subscribtion manually.

I just registered everything today and I’m waiting for my webhost, Lunarpages, to call me (they verify all orders by phone - this is my third web site with them and I love them). I’ll give one more heads up a day or two before I make the transition, which should be sometime within the next week.

Derelict License

Friday, April 21st, 2006
Thanks to a debate regarding the LGPL and how it applies to some of the bindings in Derelict, my confusion on licensing issues has been banished. From this day forward all Derelict packages are now released under a single, BSD-style license. The svn trunk has been updated with the new source headers.
