The Rebuild releases have been coming so frequently that I haven’t been announcing them all here. But now Gregor has released a new version of DSSS (D Shared Software System) and, simultaneously, Rebuild 0.6. In addition to features and bug fixes, the new DSSS has been Rebuilt on top of Rebuild. The latest Rebuild is a bug-fix release.

Gregor has released version 0.2 of Rebuild. This release adds the -ll option to make linking with libraries easier.

David Friedman has released GDC 0.22. Among other things, this release updates GDC to DMD 1.004, deprecates support for GCC 3.3.x, and adds support for GCC 4.1.x.

Walter has released DMD 1.005. This release exterminates a colony of bugs, adds some ultra-mega-uber cool new features. If you liked D yesterday, you’re going to love it today.

Gregor Richards, the fellow behind DSSS, has released a new build tool called Rebuild. Being unhappy with Bud, he decided to “recreate” it to his liking. As a happy Bud user myself, I won’t be switching to it, but some of you Linux-types might find it useful since it supports some Linux idioms, like cross-compilation.
