Jarrett Billingsley has put out a call for feature suggestions for his scripting language, MiniD. The project is drawing near to a 1.0 release and Jarrett is planning to put a feature freeze in place. If there’s anything you’d like to see added to the language, now’s the time to speak up.

DCon I is being planned by Brad Roberts. It has been discussed in the newsgroup, but now he has put up a website with details. He asks that you register if you plan to attend. There is no fee, but he needs to have a solid idea of numbers.
I intend to take a trip to Atlanta this year, so I’m going to try to schedule it such that I can make the conference. My fingers are crossed

More GUI news: Anders has released a new version of wxD. The latest includes support for: wxWidgets 2.8.x, Tango, Digital Mars & GNU Make, Bud, Rebuild, the Code::Blocks IDE and DSSS. He has tested it on Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, and Windows XP. He says it works with GDC 0.23 and DMD 1.007 (which begs the question, does it not worker with more recent versions?).
