Lester Martin has put together a Windows installer for D. It has three different install options and allows you to conveniently setup Tango/Phobos, DMD and DSSS.

Helix is a mathematics library that has been languishing from inactivity for quite a while. The project page explains what it’s about, but don’t bother downloading the zip file linked there as it won’t compile. Bill Baxter used a modified version of it for his OpenMeshD project. Now, he has added his modified Helix to the OpenMeshD trunk. Graphics and game programmers in particular should find it useful. And be sure to thank Bill!

Jascha has announced a new beta release of the Attributed Parse Generator for D. This release adds support for Tango and GDC, among other things.

A few things I’ve missed reporting on over the past several days:
Mattie Niemenmaa has announced the Conforming Concurrent Befunge Interpreter, created with D and Tango. It made no sense to me when I first read the name of the app, but he thankfully included a couple of wiki links regarding Befunge in his announcement.
Bill Baxter has ported OpenMesh 1.95 to D and now has a DSource project for it.
Bill also set up a page at Wiki4D regarding how to port from different languages to D. He put out a call for contributers. If you know something about migrating code from another language to D, don’t be shy.
Martin Fuchs is the maintainer of a library called XMLStorage, which he has now ported to D. It’s also available for C++ and Java. He describes it as “a light weight XML library, providing functionality to easily read, write and modify XML files.”
Bruno Medeiros has released version 0.2.0 of Mmrnmhrm, his Eclipse-based D IDE. See the changelog for release details.
