Over the next hour or so I’m going to be working on getting a new theme set up and upgrading to the latest version of WordPress. If you notice any wonkiness during your visit, that’s likely the culprit. I’ll write a new post when things are all set.

A great many bugfixes for both branches and that all that 1.022 has gotten. But there are a handful of new features and enhancements in 2.005. There’s a new C++ interface as well as an overhaul to some Phobos modules by Andrei Alexandrescu. Also, Brad Roberts is now working on getting the Phobos runtime sorted out with the ultimate goal of compatibility between it, Tango, and GDC’s gphobos.

Walter has released a new version of DMDScript, which fixes function closure bugs. For the uninitiated, you can learn more about the language at the DMDScript home page.

The D Installer now lives at DSource. There’s more information on the project page than there was on the page I linked to in my last post about it. The fact that it’s at DSource also means the project has a discussion forum now.
