‘Tis the season for D book announcements. Andrei Alexandrescu has posted on his site that he is putting together a D book:
Andrei is working on “The D Programming Language” book, slated to hit the shelves in October 2008. His interest in the D programming language stems from Andrei’s active participation in the design of D 2.0 as a close collaborator of D’s creator, Walter Bright.
I assume this book will focus on D 2.0 features. Hopefully, the new const system (which I really would prefer to do without, personally) and other new features will all be ironed out by then.
