DWT Reborn
January 20th, 2008 | by Aldacron |Some enterprising members of the D community have taken it upon themselves to reinvigorate the old D port of SWT in the guise of two new projects: DWT-Win and DWT-Linux. Both projects are based on SWT 3.3 and are compatible with Tango. From the NG announcement:
Status DWT-Linux:
Completed:
dnd, custom, widgets, events,
graphics, accessibitly, printing, layout
Missing:
browser, programFirst helloworld example running
Size with debug info/strip/upx: 4,8 MB/1,8 MB/0,5 MB
The developers could use some helping hands with porting official SWT examples. Anyone up to the task should head on over to one of the forums for either project and let them know.

what is NG announcement?
Newsgroup announcement. When you see that it most often means I picked it up from the d.D.announce newsgroup.
