A new official release of Code::Blocks has finally been announced. It ships with built-in support for D projects, so if you haven’t yet settled on an IDE or editor for D already, you may want to give it a look.

Another Chris Miller (lordsauron for future reference, so as not to confuse him with DFL Chris) has obtained permission from the Big W to distribute DMD with some useful libraries in a bundle he calls the DMD Toolkit Package. If you are a child of the modern Windows world, don’t know a batch file from a sauropod, or think the command line is something your grandfather used, then this toolkit is made for you.

Mason and Clay have released a new version of Blaze, their 2D Rigid Body Physics engine. This release fixes all known bugs and internal updates to adapt the ported C++ code to use D paradigms.

Chris Miller has released new versions of DFL, the D Forms Library, and Entice Designer, “a Form Designer for DFL and a rich code editor [that] is on the path to becoming an IDE.” Don’t forget the DFL and Entice video tutorials.
