DMD 1.030 and 2.014
May 17th, 2008 | by Aldacron |Just in time for my return to the blog, we get new released of both the 1.x and 2.x series of DMD. As usual, the 1.x branch got mostly bug fixes, while the 2.x got those in addition to new features and changes. Both branches got a couple of changes that affect the way modules are compiled. See Walter’s NG announcement for more info on that.
The usual disclaimer for newcomers and returning oldtimers: the 1.x series is the stable version of DMD and the 2.x series is a moving target that likely shouldn’t be used yet for production code (unless, of course, you enjoy rewriting bits of code every month or so).
