There’s a whole lotta bug squashing goin’ on. The inclusion of the backend source into the DMD distributions has led to an extra helping of bugfixes for DMD 1.042 and 2.027. From Walter’s newsgroup announcement:

The usual disclaimer for D newcomers: the DMD 1.x series is stable and should be used for production code, or by those who want to use Tango, or those are at risk of seizing when frequent breaking changes occur; those who like to live on the edge and enjoy rewriting their code every few weeks may enjoy the 2.x series.
